Three Décor Tips for a Vineyard Wedding

I have always had a soft spot for gorgeous vineyards like Natchez Hills Vineyard in Hampshire, TN. After all, the design possibilities at such a venue are endless! Brides and grooms planning a wedding here enjoy a setting that already offers timeless elegance and gorgeous color palettes, even before planning the overall design of the ceremony and reception. It's no wonder why so many movies and real-life couples opt for these venues as the locale for important life events…especially weddings!

With all that said, what should you consider when designing your event? Read on for our three quick tips when hashing out your rental order and décor choices for your vineyard wedding!

1. Use nature-themed décor elements.
Use nature-inspired centerpieces and décor elements to highlight the venue’s natural beauty and grace. Of course, a vineyard is not limited to one color scheme or another, but you always want to choose colors and themes that allow guests to focus on the unique qualities of the venue.

2. Draw attention to the bountiful colors at the venue by using accent colors in similar shades throughout your bridal party's attire.
Whether your bridesmaids will wear purples, champagne, a pastel of some tone, or another color, make sure it complements the venue and your reception décor. Always start with the tones of your venue, and work “out” from there, making sure the overall look of your day fits together like a puzzle piece. If you are not sticking with traditional black and white for the men, they can color coordinate with your bridesmaids.

3. Ask your florist to design a bouquet that complements your color scheme and venue.
You may have covered this in step one when designing your centerpieces! Your florist will be able to lead you to the proper flowers and colors that help complement your venue and create an overlying theme throughout your special day.
