We're Engaged!

Nashville native, Kaila Thompson and Samuel Nickles of Huntsville, AL are excited to announce their engagement! Kaila is a a Graduating Masters in Public Health Student at Univ. of Louisville and Samuel is a Captain in the U.S. Army. They will be married on August 4, 2012 at Centennial Park in Nashville!

"Sam planned a spontaneous Skydiving Trip in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We had a wonderful time there from eating at a Brazilian restaurant to shopping and getting spoiled in the mall, I was really enjoying sightseeing around the city. We then drove out to Skydive New Mexico for our Tandem Jump together. The day of the jump I was SO nervous, well we both were. I remember telling Sam, "I'm jumping out of a plane for you?! What else do you want from me?!" He just told me in his kind voice, "Baby, this will be a weekend you will never forget, trust me!"
I put my trust in him and it definitely paid off! After jumping out of the plane and coming back to El Paso, Texas in one piece, I was excited to announce my engagement! Yes, Sam had asked me to marry him and after me screaming, I said YES!! I then called all my loved ones to share the news, of course after first calling and telling my mother! I was so excited. It seemed unreal!"
