Married on a gorgeous summer day in Music City, Courtney and Robb's wedding day is captured in these amazing shots by Jenny Lindsey Photography... they are truly meant to be!

Tell about your love story... How did you meet? How was the question popped?

We met on a Sunday afternoon happy hour in July 2008 in Nashville.  Robb and I hit it off right away and had a first date a few days later; the rest was history! We were engaged while waiting for a table at the Acorn Restaurant in Nashville.  Robb’s original plan was to propose in Asheville, NC but the trip was postponed several times throughout the spring and summer. Poor guy had that ring for 4 months before he was finally able to propose!

Recap you big day... What were the most memorable moments?

It was so nice to have our family and best friends in town all together. We don’t get to see our closest friends or a lot of family members very often (most live outside of Tennessee), so that was really special.  I also remember our walk back down the aisle after we were introduced as Mr. and Mrs. Robb Fedou; it was mixture of excitement and relief!   Pictures were a blast as well... since the church had rules surrounding when you could access the space for photos, the time frame did not work with the large size of our families and wedding party.  Instead, we decided to spend 2 hours before the wedding riding around downtown Nashville with coolers of adult beverages and took photos in spots that looked fun. We found this amazing green wall downtown and got some great pictures there. We also were able to take a lot of pictures on the Pedestrian Bridge with views of the city skyline. After the wedding, our nieces and nephews that were part of the wedding party really got into posing for the camera.  Our photographer never even had to ask them to pose... It was fun!

What was your vision/theme? How did you bring it to life?

We did not have a vision or theme. I wanted to look like a more dressed up version of myself and we wanted our reception to represent who we are as people and as a couple. Our main goal was for our guests to have a great time and I think we accomplished that. We stuck with looks and colors that we liked and tried to avoid too much of anything (a color, pattern, or a flower).

What's the best advice you can give a bride and groom planning their wedding?

Take time away from planning and don’t let unnecessary stress or drama ruin anything.  People will offer unwanted opinions or advice and it’s really important to stick to what you want. It’s nice to have some input, but don’t seek advice from 10 people because you will get 10 different responses and be more confused! Also, having a supportive fiancé is extremely important. On days when I was super stressed or not seeing the big picture, Robb always brought me back to reality and reminded me that the focus was on a life together, not insignificant details of a party.  Don’t forget to have fun and delegate the tasks that don’t interest you!

What has surprised you most during the first few months of marriage?

The first months of marriage were so EASY. You always hear that the first year of marriage is hard, and while certain things (like merging bank accounts and changing my name) were a bit stressful, we’ve been having a lot of fun. It’s really fun to see Robb with a ring on his left hand. We have tried to stick to the theme of “don’t sweat the small stuff” that we tried to follow during wedding planning.

Here's to a happy and long marriage!  Congrats to you both!  Here's a list of all the great vendors that made this dream come true...
